Turns out the coil wasn't bad. For some reason the ignitor wasn't getting signal for cylinder 6. I jumped the #6 and #1 coil driver wires and it runs like a champ (it runs in waste spark mode anyway so no negative effects there). Not sure why no signal on the #6 wire. Will diagnose tomorrow.
That's a good looking old Celica. Cool project too :)
I second that motion. The Celica isn't nearly as heavy as a Supra either so you're not going to be putting as much stress on the transmission.

That poor 7M. Looks like it lived a long, hard, neglected life.
The paint looks good, especially the bumpers/trim, major improvement there. I don't personally care for the way you did the bay, but at least you did it right.
The weird AFR readings on the AEM were due to the AFR units being set to Methanol.
Apparently that setting is defaulted to when you upgrade the software. Dumb.
The info is out there. The diagrams tell you everything you need to know. If you're not electrically inclined, this may not be a job you want to handle yourself. By the sound of your questions, you may be in a bit over your head. We can try to spoon feed you, but if after reading this it still...
