that's not what I meant by dual tip
I mean like tips as in the pipe is split into two not two big canisters
but coming out the side of the car....in my head it sounds cool but idk if it will really look as good as I think it will
hey guys I have an 87 so with regulations where I am I don't née emissions and I already have it straight piped. I'm kinda wanting a new exhaust though to be different.
so I was think of getting my 3 inch exhaust cut down and getting dual tips to come out the passenger side of the car to be...
here is what I can help with have you checked your guage fuse? it's the 7.5 a one
if so and it is blown get a multi meter and put it on the most sensitive setting and put it in the top slot where the fuse goes and to the ground and how many ohms do you get?
I haven't fixed it yet man
my fuse pops only if I start moving
of my car is idling it's fine but when I move "pop" I'm workin on it right now ill let you know when I fix it
is it safe to advance the timing to 15° on the stock ecu to get more low end power and better gas mileage if I lower the boost down to 10 or 12 or so or will I get detonation?
2.5 inch piping with a 3 inch core
2.5 will allow good air floor without restricting your spool time anymore than that you'll lag and just like above ^^ 3 inch core is plenty and modifying the the front to relocate things just to get a bigger ic in wont be fun lol
don't buy one through work go to a pull apart cost 20$
comes off an ls400 like a 90-93 model(someone correct me if I am wrong)
brand new the things like 900$
550s = 25% more fuel
lex = 25% more air to even it out
660s = 50% more fuel so you'll run hella rich if you don't have a tuning device
550s are good for 450+ hp anyways which you won't even reach with your mods so I'd get 550s
no I finally got a chance to work on it today since it has been raining and so I'm trying to figure it out as we speek...
wow this thread got way off topic! hahahaha that looks like a nice place to go though lol
