i dyno'd at 280/360 with my current setup. stock motor and turbo, with a failing headgasket :(.
i/c pipes, fake greddy bov, bic ddp, full 3" exh, k&n filter, colder plugs, lex/550 setup.
i also used high imp injectors. there's a quick fix that makes them work fine.
do NOT install the afm without the injectors. just put in the afm and 550's, and you'll be fine. i was hitting fc at anything over 8 psi, and now i can pull 17psi with no problems. i have a 3"ddp, full 3" exh, k&n filter, and a greddy boost controller.
i checked the afr's with an innovate...
finished up the lower end of my motor and painted the block. also polished and painted whatever i could get my hands on. :)
yes, that is chevy orange.

check for boost leaks. start with the hose right off the turbo. mine literally fell apart in my hand. after that check all the clamps. what you're describing absolutely sounds like a boost leak.
got my car running after my flat bed trip the other night. found a random wire under the intake had grounded itself out and blew the 15a fuse. i think it went to the vsv that's long gone now. :)
of course now the car is idling low and wants to stall, but "new" motor is being worked on as we...
that's not a bad deal. not sure if you will have to replace the clips though. some injectors are plug-n-play. i have fic injectors, and i had to replace the clips. i think they were like $35 for all six clips.
i'm not sure if porting the wastegate would help. there are a few options, like a fcd or a standalone computer. honestly, i think the best bang for the buck is the lex-550 combo. i really don't see a downside to doing it. i mean, for around $400 you can go from hitting fuel cut all the time to...
i couldn't run more than stock boost without hitting fuel cut. if you don't have a lex afm, and 550's, i highly recommend getting them. i'm able to run 16psi without hitting f/c now. and yes, i used a wideband to see if everything was safe, and my afr's are between 10.5 and 12 at wot.
also...
i replaced the starter a few days ago. i'm going to look in that area to see if i hit any other wires while removing it. if i'm lucky, that's all it is. :)
ok guys, here's one for you. while i was driving down the highway at 60, the lights flickered but i didn't really pay attention to it. about a half mile down the road they did it again, then the car just shut off.
i did some diag on the side of the road, but i didn't feel safe there so i...
