The internal mechanism can break. Least destructive way at that point is to cut the metal loop that the latch wraps around by slipping a blade through the gap. Gotta be careful doing it though.
Yeah, there was one. It was cloth and had magnetic strips IIRC. Wasn't made for driving or bad weather though.
I find it easier to just slap the targa back on personally.
Huge ground strap = harder to get hot = harder to self clean = fouling
Also, that show "reviews" whoever pays them. They gave glowing reviews to those turbine things you stick in your intake.
Only somewhat works on side exits. The angle on "rice cannon" mufflers is for straighter flow (though I'm still skeptical if it really does anything at all)
If it's a GOOD aftermarket alarm, it uses a jumper harness that's easy to remove, and a few wire taps. Had to remove a dealer installed one on my dad's Camry because it decided to pull this crap. Took me a couple hours, but it wasn't hard.
