Based soley on the automaker, STi. Mitsubishi looks for any way to void your warranty while Subaru doesn't care most of the time.
I've seen some seriously impressive things done on te track with an Evo, but the STi is more my style. More of a GT car than a racing car.
That's why I bought mine from the dealer. Also one of the reasons I think felpro is a ripoff as their gaskets look exactly like the super cheap stuff you can get on ebay...
Motor would require quite a lot of gear reduction to get the proper torque. A clip latch won't work as the targa is structural and stressed when it's bolted on unlike t-tops.
19121-42010 is the actual cover
19127-42010 is the gasket (yes it's the cheaper one)
The GE and GTE distributor page link to that one page. If you read down the list, it tells you the applications of the part numbers.
Would only increase lag. Or if you're pushing the turbo outside of it's efficency.
There's a reason the Pike's Peak cars are turboed :) Not to mention what we did to airplanes during WWII...
This is simple...
Look at your altitude. Boosted engine doesn't give a crap what altitude you're at, you'll still make the same power as it will cram more air in to hit it. NA car just falls on it's face at altitude...
I've seen too many things broken with airtools. Go to a good mechanic that works on seriously expensive and rare cars, and you won't find an impact anywhere.
