Depends on the water and depth. Barely submerging the engine usually won't allow anything in. Been there on my old truck when a water crossing was a little deeper than I expected and water came over the hood, but nothing got inside the engine. Had to change the gear oil in the axles though as...

I'm not sure, but I think they went to different fittings on the 91-92 cars like they did on the clutch master. If the fittings are different, they're not going to work. I don't see them really being an issue otherwise as they're both ABS cars...
Simple. As HP is calculated from torque and RPM, if the engine has the flow and dimensions to withstand high RPM, you'll make more HP. Look at motorcycles if you want a laugh ;)
As I already said, dirty or damaged plug wires. It doesn't take much. A graphite pencil is enough to cause a short to ground, it's a terrible prank to pull on someone, but it illustrates how little is needed...
