I intend to run 550s and the lex AFM in my car, however some have had
good results without doing so. I refer to J. B. Lunsford website:
"I do not run the 550s on my car. I don't think they are necessary on a car with anything less than a full t04 turbo or bigger with more than 15 psi boost...

This is from the Champion site---- so yes it is indeed for a MKIV
I you watch some of these resto shops work on old $#$#@ pulled out of a
wheat field you would be amazed at what you can "Polish" Again whats it
worth to YOU.
The question is "how much is your time worth" ? Anything is fixable but is it
worth it? You could go to a junk yard find a Supra shell and cut out the sections you need and weld them in but again is it worth it?
It is 21 Sections long each section varies from 10 pages (propeller shaft)
to 163 pages (automatic transmission). Then there is fold outs for electrical at the end and spec sheets for bolts, tools etc. Just buy one. Got mine off eBay for $50 More than worth it.
ps it is 1 1/2" thick of...
Jeff Watson of Champion Toyota also does R154 rebuilds. Give him a call he can
give you details $$s and so on. I have heard good things about his work.
He is also a dam fine parts guy as well.
Having only purchased one JDM engine I can only speak for that one. It was purchsed on Ebay from Sunrise Auto Parts out of Quebec. It was indeed JDM and was in VERY good condition after tearing it down for rebuild. The head gasket was completly intact no sign of leakage. Could of used it as it...
If you look at the third pic in the picture gallery look at the drivers side door edge below the mirror. Looks like heavy bondo builup. I suspect the front end body work has been replaced (collision?) that would account for the diff. (early MKIII) bumper without seeing in person of course could...
Sorry, IJ is correct here. Drove my car for nearly 2 yrs and had intermittant cooling issues just like this. Till it got much worse I wanted to deny it was a BHG. But it was. A very small leak of gasses into the cooling system can cause probs.
The TRSM does not show a clear pic of where it goes. It mounts at an angle between the firewall and a mounting point on the steering colum. The conector that goes to the Super monitor readout is not very long so my guess is that it goes on the right side of the steering colum. I have one to...
Isn't the TRSM on cygnusx1 for a 1990? I have the owners manual and factory TRSM for an for my 87 and it makes no mention of a CD player - wish it did I would find one.
