well he said the plugs had oil on them so I'm wondering if it has a lot of oil/carbon build up also in it and it just happens to be most in that cylinder
grey like I said before it's the gas and oil you're burning mixed together
mine does it too becuase my exhaust seal on my turbo has decided to go
no that's not the cath can..that's the charcoal canister
a catch can isn't necessary I just put one on mine to get rid of the blow by going into my...
if you'd like to consider the intake a catch can then yes XD
but no it does not come with one
the reason you stall comin off boost is becuase it's looking for the air that's supposed to come back through the intake becuase it was already metered so when vented to the atmosphere it doesn't get...
you just restated what I told him
I didn't say the bov would cause it to smoke. he didnt specify a tuning device he said the smoke is grey meaning it's unburnt gas and smoke(oil) mixed together I was just taking a guess the unburnt fuel was from the bov not being recirculated
I also didnt just...

the smoke is greyish becuase the bov isn't recirculated so it runs rich due to lack of air coming in and mixes with the oil making it grey
the smoke on idle would be the turbo also
if there is oil in the ic pipes that would explain your...
just do a compression test when you get the motor. if it fails a dry compression as in a cylinder is more than 10% different than the others then do a wet compression. if you notice the numbers shoot up your rings bad. I doubt they'll be bad
to make this better for you, theres a section on here...
