    CajunKenny's Build Thread

That's the elbow to the very rare Blitz BAG Turbo upgrade for the 7M, which is comparable to the HKS Sport turbo. Too bad you don't have the original wooden container that the turbo was supplied in. This is old school stuff man, like early '90s stuff :icon_razz. It's great to have something...

Could also be indicative of blown turbo bearing. Check the axial shaft for excessive play.

    Pressure bleeding brakes?

The TV show, "Two Guys Garage" or maybe "Gearz", featured this Reverse Bleeding Brake System from "Phoenix Systems" on one of their episodes: http://www.brakebleeder.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2 They offer different kits dependent on usage frequency / price for the typical DIY to...

    wheel well rot

Basically two chassis off restoration that epitomizes the "correct" process in performing rust removal and and repair on the A70 chassis: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30512 http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84577 Any less meticulous attention to some degree...

Finally decided to go with fully built 7mgte

Any budget for a standalone EMS? The OEM ECU with early '80's computing technology is the next "achilles heel" post a thoroughly considered engine rebuild. You're making methodological steps in your modification, therefore, don't overlook the next obvious iteration.

Will never buy from 935 Motorsports again!

All I have to add is that in the future, use a credit card for all purchases, especially via online / internet. If any transaction problem were to develop, similar to this situation, the credit card company will be the group handling the rigmarole , and you've long gotten a reimbursement.

Got hit tonight, :) Fixed with pics on Post 91

That's a repairable damage, coupled with some suspension arm replacement / realignment. I'll speculate repair bill from body shop to be $3.5k to $5k. I suppose you were at fault, so no insurance compensation coming your way?

Toyota of N. America forces Toyo-DIY to.......

Absolutely correct. And herein lies present problem, that is, the possibly intentional inconsideration for just about anything copyrighted, and other proprietary information. Seemingly it's now okay to operate with almost impunity in copying, duplicating, "knocking off" other groups...

Hey Dave Great find. Where would one find appropriate electrical type connector for those studs?

    USB to Serial issues

I have an Express Card Serial Adapter, but just can't find an appropriate driver for Vista 64bit. Drivers for Vista 32 does not work. It uses prolific chip. I've searched everywhere, and tried multiple drivers in futility. So I'm relegated to using the RadioShack USB-to-Serial cable.

has anyone tried the Mishimoto radiator fans/shroud on their setup?

Even if that's the spec' for a single fan, then at <2000 CFM total those fans are definitely not impressive at all. Hopefully the OP does not participate in any spirited driving, AC non functional, not automatic, doesn't get stuck in stop & go traffic in the hot climate of Florida. Otherwise...

has anyone tried the Mishimoto radiator fans/shroud on their setup?

No mention about the performance, CFM and draw/amperage, of the electric fans?

    A/C removal/delete

It's your car so you can do whatever you wish. However, as with everything that has value, consider the resale. Completely removing the AC system, whether or not it was functional, will in some appreciable degree, devalue the vehicle. Of course, all not important if you plan to own the car...

How To Pass CT Emissions Testing Without Fear

This is somewhat perplexing, and I'm kinda curious how the technicians, and emission testing stations are truly compensated? The technician dedicated ~25 to 30 minutes in evaluating the vehicle, but we're only required to pay $20. The total time dedicated definitely values more than the $20...

How To Pass CT Emissions Testing Without Fear

I've never been to California and I've never experienced the EPA rules their, but from my experience here in CT it sure does feel like the eastern extension of CA :). The technician performed both visual and the roller / sniffer test; check gas cap for vacuum, popped hood to check for emission...

How To Pass CT Emissions Testing Without Fear

Just simply assure that your vehicle is in great running condition, all emission device installed, and engine properly warmed. Late 2008 I barely passed because the car was running lean, and an aged sport catalytic converter in play. I passed with NOx just 1 point below limit. Over the winter...

    Upgrade in progress!!!????

It's a turbo with a Garret cover - I don't think one can gather / provide more information than that. Remove the compressor and turbine housings and measure the dimensions for the exducer and inducer for both the turbine and compressor wheels. Also measure the inlet outlet of the compressor...
