Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3,...NOW FOUR!

Turbine housings are what, 3/16" or thicker. Will take it a human lifetime to corrode to a thickness that can be compromised. Afterall, it isn't really submerged in salty sea water during it's operation...

    ABS delete Q's!

I'll pose this simple question, how much insurance do you have; how much assets do you own; how much money do you have stashed away; and, do you have an attorney on retainer? When one goes about changing a vehicles safety provisions that it was originally delivered with, and that vehicle is then...

    7M Coolant flow

The highlighted coolant route goes to the water neck, prior the thermostat. Once the thermostat opens, then coolant flow begins. The other similar coolant line that wraps around the block, is the heater / TB / ISC return line which is plumbed into the water pump passage. They would be easy to...

Bearings and Gaskets: Aftermarket or OEM?

And that is the tricky balance. I'll try to avoid the black / graphite impinged gasket type stuff because from what I've seen, they form a semi-adhesive bond to the mating surfaces. This will be a terrible situation if you're trying to do a speedy on track repair. I have a genuine OEM head...

    1300 Kg Track SUPRA project

I use an electric solenoid so that I can activate and discharge the unit prior to engine start up. Also, with the same switch, I can deactivate the unit prior to engine shutdown in order to preserve the oil pressure presently in the system for subsequent start up discharge.

    Cool/Rare parts thread?

Toyota TDSE. I just yank these from my car this past weekend. It's the Toyota TDSE that I purchased new back in 1998-1999. It adds a glass break sensor, and a single button keyfob to arm/disarm the alarm while closing / opening the door's power locks. I had simultaneously wired in a shock...
