I was attempting to install my spec stage 3+ clutch today and noticed something startling...The pressure plate does not have any rivets at the locations indicated in the photograph. Is this a f-up on specs behalf? it seems that these rivets would prevent excessive elongation of the clutch...
they do have metal in them. All that was left of the framework from the mudflaps on my 89 was some rusted metal.
edit: same part number for all the years as well.
resistance will increase when hot, this is a fundamental electronic property of materials. I have no idea what the G1/G signal does, but if it has a specified range as per the TSRM, I assume it is critical to the correct operation of the car.
I'll decode jdub's cryptic message for you...you want the rubber isolators on each of the mounts to electronically isolate the radiator from the car body. Without them, you run the risk of turning the rad into a galvanic cell, resulting in the accelerated corrosion of the rad.
there is a snap ring which holds the compressor housing in place, but the retaining plate is notched into place. I suppose I could make a new notch, but it may be easier just going to a 1/2NPT to -08 hose fitting.
I'm pretty sure they are still available from the dealer...thats where i got mine. give champion toyota a call.

the one on the right bolts to the upper portion of the inner door handle assembly. If you remove the door handle it should be pretty clear where it goes. This is the switch that will activate the interior lights and key ring light when you pull the door handle.
