She says she doesn't want a turbo or supercharger, but I bet if she had or drove one...she's like it :D
Power isn't too bad as they take well to forced induction. Or you could drop an LS1 in it...
You definately don't do the oil filter from the top  Follow the TSRM like I gave.
It's easy, even with my DDP. Just don't do it when the engine is burning hot.
Doing the oil is easy. People complain about the filter, but I've never had a problem if I followed the TSRM: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=LU&P=5
Plugs are harder since you have to move more and the routing of the wires with the coilpacks is a pain. I use...
Yeah, the NA door panels are absolute shit. I have to give Mazda credit for improving the creature comforts of the miata without seriously impacting it's performance (well, except for that stupid retractable hardtop).
Here's a link to the pics, dunno why the camera was being stupid and...
Mmmmm, I wouldn't say it stinks. It's still the only car in it's segment, and the NC is more powerful and not much heavier than the cars before it.
You keep talking about the coating, when the coating IS able to be replicated, in fact, you can get better than the factory coating.
NC is...
Could be had with a manual :D Car was designed by Fisker (it's pretty obvious if you look at his other cars). Awesome car, only seen one as I used to live in a very upscale area.
The tail lights are awesome on those cars, using neon (I can't image what they'd cost to replace...)
Lexan would work fine for the back window, if you could mount it. It just has to be coated to prevent UV damage (much like plastic headlights). While you could easily have the heater painted on, I doubt it would be as effective as on glass since the plasti would be a better thermal insulator...
Z3 is little better than an overpriced Miata. Seriously.
Z4 on the other hand looks awesome, and the M version has 333HP out of a 3.2 I6 with a redline of 8K :D
S2000 probably is built better and will be cheaper to maintain (of course I'm pointing out the obvious), but they're both about the...
Removing the lumps where the studs are can induce leaks.
If you're only running the CT-26, the manifold is not the bottleneck in the system, the turbo is. People have run bolt-on turbos over 500HP on the stock manifold.
That diagram doesn't show the line for the factory BOV at all. It comes off the nipple pointing up on the metal piece that goes under the intake manifold. It then goes up between the pipes of the manifold to a small hard line piece that bolts to the head and then to the hardline that bolts to...
