I'm sticking by the statement saying that if the problem is actually in your antitheft system, then a push start WILL start the car! Get the damn thing started by pushing start, and go straight home, if you need to stop for gas, don't turn it off!
I would get rid of the sandwich plate and get the adaptor that needs the NA stud the screw in -> Filter relocation adaptor -> filter -> t-stat -> Line in to oil cooler -> oil cooler -> line out back to t-stat -> line from t-stat going back to adaptor plate.
I would also put your oil pressure...
Check the condition of your wiring also, the o2 sesor wires are close to a high heat source (even though they are sheilded), but +15 years can and will leave wires brittle and needing a good repair job....
Any reputable machine shop should have the equipment to do this for you. I thought it was a given that most people don't have the equipment in their garage to actually do this thereselves :dunno:.
I have a vocational tech. school right down the road from me that has the machinery to do this...
