You dont the ecu makes that adjustment. Check all your vac hoses more than likely you have big leak some where. I had the same issue with my car it would idle around 1000rpm it turned out to be a vac hose was completly off around the harmonic balancer.

i m lost .... are the guages not working? i am missing why u need to swap them. Last time i checked all the sensors and sending units are the same for the 7mge and 7mgte. Oil pressure, thermostat, all the way to the knock sensor(s). I swapped my auto tranny and put a w58 tranny and driveshaft...
The short answer is life the hood, find the diagnostic box located behind the battery, open it and put a piece if wire in Te1 and e1, turn the key to the on position, read the number of "blinks" (blink blink ......... blink blink blink blink) etc.
I agree 100% clean and flow match (get them rebuilt) .... I was just making fun of the idea that the stock system cant handle 400rwhp. Most people say get a set of 550's and a walbro pump and they shoot down the idea that 1hp to 1cc as a rule of thumb thats all
Does that mean the stock 440's can be used with the stock fuel system(since toyota matched the fuel pump to the injectors) on an upgraded ct26 since the upgraded ones dont push 450rwhp consistently..... The popular answer is no. However i will find out very shortly :evil2:
I am running a 6puck ceramic and a heavy duty pressure plate i had mine built by a desiel truck clutch place ( i hope that made sense) it costed me like 250 total. It grabs and goes no issues so far with over 10,000 miles on it :)
