i probably shouldn't mention that i pulled my trans without removing the clutch. i know all you guys say it can't be done, but it came out like every other trans i've ever done.
will these nylon spacers help if there's up and down slop in the stock bushings? i have a bunch of up and down play in my subframe, at the bushings.
thanks.........
no pics till the parts come, but i ordered a bunch of stuff from driftmotion. also talked to albert and my turbo will be shipping this week. :)
i'm still looking for a poly trans mount and some opinions on what rear subframe spacers to get.....................
ugh. i drove it down the street with a friend so we could figure out the noise i had. it's a loud whining noise under load only. also, the car won't build any boost. we're pretty sure the turbo is shot. i may pull the accordian hose off tomorrow and see if the wheel is hitting the turbo housing.
wow! that blue is awesome. all i did was pick up a used pair of eagle f1's for $45. 275-35-18's. :)
other than that, i'm still waiting for my new turbo to get here. :(
it definitely needs bigger rear tires. with a roll and pull you should be able to get 275-35's on there. the front wheels are too wide for my taste. i'd probably do 18x8.5 +25. that way you can fit a 235-40 under there.
i think my turbo died today? :(
i've had some smoking and a little noise for a while. well today after a nice launch, the whining noise got really loud. i also noticed that the car was down on power. the good thing is, i ordered a 60-1 from albert. time to do work. :)
cool, thanks. i'll definitely order a pair of these.
also, good call hvyman. i think mine is shot as well. my guess is that the 1pc shaft just makes all the little things more evident.
thanks. it looks like i need the bushing for the camber arms, as shown in this pic.

this kit has the bushings i need. now to find it in the usa. :)...
ok, here's my latest problem with the car... i recently installed a 1pc driveshaft on my 90. i now have an intermittent rear end shake around 80. i was swapping over wheels to see if they were out of balance, and a did a quick shakedown while it was jacked up.
it looks like both rear...
i installed my new beech short shifter with an old school white ball knob. i also installed my new 1pc driveshaft. now i have a vibration above 80 that's pretty bad. i'm going to throw the old one back on to see if it goes away. :( i already checked the bolts, and they're tight. i didn't have...
here's a size i haven't seen yet. 18x10 + 44 front and rear. i'm almost positive the rears will work, but does ANYONE know if the fronts will fit??????????
ok, if someone knows the deal here please let me know. i wanted a nashman shifter, but they're not available so this one it is.
is there a difference between ver 2 and ver 3? hopefully one of the sellers will chime in.
