please excuse me if this sounds like a stupid question........
what is the difference between the short shifter that raptor racing sells and the one that suprasport sells?
i know the raptor one says "version 2" and the suprasport says "version 3", but in the pics they look like the same exact...
i'm going to take it to golden alternator and have them rebuild it the right way. he said he's seen this with tons of "cheap" reman starters. he promised me i would never have this problem again. it just sucks that people put out shitty products.
i bought what was available. i would expect a part to last longer than a few days. if they had the better one available we wouldn't be having this conversation.
r=the problem isn't my cheapness here, it's the shoddy quality of the parts that are out there.
i am pretty sure it is. the only one they had was a $60 one. i tried to buy a better one, but they said it would be a month out. wtf. i do know one thing, if it starts when you tap it then it's a bad starter. at this point it would be cheaper to just throw this one away and but a good one from...
thanks for that. it was the only one available anywhere near me. i wanted the better one but they said it would be a month away.
instead of your usual smart ass comments, why not come up with some useful information.
i have a question for any 7m guys... i bought a reman starter in august, and it went bad this march. i had to tap it with a hammer to get it to start.. i just took it back and got it warrantied for another one, and it lasted all of 3 days. i had to tap it to start it today.
can anything with...
i installed my new odyssey battery and stm hold down. threw in another new starter. i also decided to put on my apr carbon fiber drift wing. now to get it sanded and re-cleared. :)
well, i pulled the starter out to go get it warrantied. they said they had one but of course when i got there they said they didn't. i also tried to make a bracket to hold down my new small battery, but that didn't work out that well either.
i was thinking of installing a new positive cable...
i pulled the trigger on a new sparco steering wheel, and an nrg hub/quick release in carbon fiber. :)
i love my stock wheel, but the top is worn out really bad. :(
it's a sparco strada. not very deep at all. i found a thread about wheels and hubs. now i just have to find the best prices on an nrg short hub and quick release. :)
hey all. i'm looking for suggestions on what hub/adapter to get for a sparco steering wheel. i'd like to keep the wheel the same distance from me as the stock setup. i'm not sure if i want a quick release or just the hub. if anyone has this setup on their car, i'd like your input.
thanks...
i had to bump start my car again. :( my reman starter is acting up. it starts fine when warm out, but just clicks if it gets cold out.
anyone ever hear of that? lol
