honestly, i think that's what a really clean mk3 should be worth; especially with that motor in it. everyone tries to lowball the good ones, yet i see people asking $5000 for rusted na's.

that's what i had heard. i am definitely going to do that. this build is being done on a budget, but not cheaply...... if you know what i mean. ;) i just look for the best deals i can find and jump on them.

i see. i got a really good deal on them. i wasn't going to go aem, but i got a good deal on that too. :) i totally understand where you're coming from. i actually found a built short block with carrillo's and je/titan pistons. unfortunately the seller hasn't gotten back to me yet.

what's wrong with probes? i'm sure they'll handle more than the 450 i'm shooting for

that's so weird. the clutch and pp were brand new when i got it apart. i haven't had and issues with it yet. maybe i did get lucky.
