I rode in my friend's built motor Starion @ 30psi. It was louder than the open dump waste gate! It really hurt my ears actually. Nice sound, but too loud for me.
I have the engine out and I have just finished up cleaning the engine as much as I want to. As I was taking apart the intake manifold, there where signs that had been off before. That is to be expected, but once I had the valve covers off it was obvious that the head gasket has been done before...
What a steal! I got a project car once for $300, it was a 1977 Toyota Celica GT. Badass car, and so fun. Good luck with your project! Take your time with it if you can and have fun.
So the insulation around the actual wires or are you talking about the insulation for the entire loom? All the plastic that protects the wires has crumbled off my harness, but the wires themselves are fine. That sound like what you have? If yes, just put new insulation tube around the whole...
On my 17x9s I run 235/40s. Perfect fit. So yeah, I would think that 245/45s on a 16x9.5 would be just right. Some people like the fat tire look and would recommend 255s probably. I don't like squishy sidewalls though, so thats too big for me.
245/45s already fit well, so whats the question? Just do that all around, personally I don't like staggered wheels/tires. Looks cool but screws up handling.
I pulled the plugs off the fuel pump before dropping the tank, but you should be able to reach them with the tank down right? Hose to the tank filler cap? The whole filler neck to the tank you mean? Once its loose from its spot in the gas filler door it should drop down. It comes right out.
Oh and if anyone does show up. Any stupidity like speeding on the roads outside the track, burnouts or any other ricer crap will get our whole operation shut down. There have been problems and the neighbors are complaining. The Altamont managment has promised to close down the track to drifting...
I think you and I are talking about very different things here. And I am a hypocrite by your definition. I will own up to that. What I am trying to say is that IBM did not invent the personal computer, they built on the concepts and designs already there and improved and innovated until they had...
Because Ford very clearly did ALL the engineering for Toyota. IBM was not the first computer either. Charles Babbage takes that honor. Levis are still just pants. He just made his from a tougher material. Evolution and progression is hugely different from rip off copying.
Even if it works fine after 10,000 cycles, its still fake. And when I say fake, I mean its a rip off of a ligit engineer's work.
Everyone makes a fuss about all the bootleg DVDs and CDs in Asia, this is no different.
I search for old car stuff. Z fender flares, 510 air dams, old school wide wheels with hella low offsets, Corona MKII stuff.
Though recently I got a complete 7M engine gasket set and a Paceshitter header for my project.
