Personally I would tap into wires that would normally go to the radio.
That way if you do it wrong, you've only lost your radio function and not say, ignition switch, or other key components.

I am so happy.
Now its time for tires, shocks, new windshield, wheel bearings, brakes, and who knows what else.
Any suggestion on shocks? Don't want TEMS, and Koni's are too expensive.
Benz = mega expensive labor and parts.
Infinite = Bleh..
Lexus = Sounds like your best choice. Parts are expensive but prolly not quite as expensive as the Benz.

No gasket leaks or anything? I had a big one right at the throttle body and engine wouldn't idle.
Someone mentioned in another thread to check the cold start injector, or maybe just unplug and see what happens.
For your a/c: First turn the A/C on then go and see if the A/C clutch engaged on the pully.
That may mean one of two things: 1) Freon too low. 2) Bad wire, etc.
Yeah Cali sucks for smog laws.
They will fail you if something is not "stock" or CARB approved regardless if you pass the emissions test.

Same thing with mine. I put wd40, penetrating oil, etc. Tried hammering on it for days, the bastard still wouldn't budge.
I gave up and took it to a shop.
