When I reassembed the engine, my bearing clearances were a little big, but not much. Someone here told me that it should be fine, but the oil pressure may not read as high if the clearances were smaller.
Dunno.
Okay, I guess you can run more the 3-5 psi.
Take a look at what other mods those guys have that are running in the 8-15 psi range though.
I could just be :blah: :blah: though.
Good luck man.
Yes, new oil pump was installed.
No, not in Canada. On my gauge there is a "-" then "2".
It mostly stays at the "-" at idle, then "2" at freeway speeds.
And the measurment is kg/cm2. I am trying to translate that into psi.
We turned on to a two lane onramp that merges into one just before freeway entrance. I was already a little ahead of him when the lanes began to merge. At first he was on my butt, then I saw him switch lanes. He was at my back tire when I gunned it. I was doing 75 by the time I hit the...
Also, I think the 6m has a higher rev limit. Its lighter so it will spin eaiser.
You may not even be able to tell a difference. I also have a 6m crank.
I think others have purchased a new harness for under $400.
Run a search on it. The other questions, I think a Toyota belt would be just fine. Dunno on your hg question.
Where does everyone's stock oil pressure gauge read?
My rebuilt engine has 225 miles. Running 20/50 castrol.
At idle it will read between the first "-" and "2".
At highway speed it will read just above "2".
If my calculations are correct "2" is about 32 psi. That seems low.
I would personally have problems paying 30k for a car that is 10 years old. But if the Supra will hold the value and its in good shape, then maybe.
I am an autoracist because I hate Volkswagen.
