anybody ever make their own spark plug wires? stumbling in boost...

Not as of this moment. The car is stored about 40 miles from where I live, so I haven't had a lot of time to mess with it. The thing that gets me is that there's no oil in the coolant or vise versa. There's just some sitting in the runners and I'm not really sure what else it could be, other...

anybody ever make their own spark plug wires? stumbling in boost...

So, I believe I've discovered my problem. ...we pulled off the upper intake manifold to hook up some wire seperators and steal my fuel rail to weld in a -8an bung for my new afpr (got a good deal on a holley 1:1 boost referenced on ebay. 29 bones) and noticed that there was coolant sitting in...

    XTD Clutch scam!

I bought a used xtd clutch/flywheel from someone on the forums, and, for the price, I figured why the hell not, I'll try it. I ended up getting the disc rebuilt at a local clutch shop and installed the unit. The flywheel is 12lbs, if not lighter, and was well worth the money. I'm running a...

Meh, in my case I'd use an external, so I can't really answer that.

    Tn people?

Honestly, I don't THINK so, depending on how much boost you plan on running, but as I said earlier, I've never ran a lex-afm, so I couldn't tell you for certain. Search for it and see what you find.

Ohhhhhh, You're asking if the tank has to be custom made...I thought you were asking about fuel pump senders and whatnot. You can get a cell that's about the same size of the tank, but you're going to have to do a bit of cutting (specifically to the spare tire well) to get it to fit. Most of...

Well, it sounds like you have most of the bases covered, but unless I missed it, you may want to think about fuel cut. I have mine eliminated via Maf-t, but in your case I'd either go with the FCD or a lexus afm I hear helps a ton (although I've never tried this myself). Depending on when I...

Yeah, it would need to be custom made.

Sounds like you did it correctly, then. ...Just making sure. Wouldn't want it to cause you a major headache in the long run and whatnot.

...Are we going for "drop in?" I didn't exactly read the whole thread. Whoops. :-)

Save my 88T thread... forNever ending..

I'm sure you probably already know this, but whenever welding thin metal (such as body panels) you're supposed to go around tacking it in different places to give the metal a chance to cool before hitting the same area again... ...otherwise it'll warp. Doesn't look bad for your first time.

for the price of getting it cleaned and relined (the tank, that is), I'd see if I couldn't pick up a fuel cell off of ebay (or elsewhere)... ...just a thought.

    hdr this photo?

I disagree with the whole RAW-hdr way of doing things. In my experience (I'm a graphic designer by trade) it's better to, even if shooting in raw, still capture multiple images. Raw or Jpeg, you can still only expose the sensor to a finite amount of light before it loses the information...

    hdr this photo?

Whenever I do an hdr, I usually end up taking like 10 or more exposures at different intervals... ...with three you're still rather limited. Besides, the whole point in HDR is to bring out the dark areas without overexposing the light places. IMHO this would not be a good image to use.

lol, I usually just eliminate where the cat would be completely. No test pipes. I usually don't fab up stuff for other people, though. Too much liability....and work, for that matter. BUT if you need any help, let me know. gnarkill, depending on when it is, I would be interested. I'm not sure...

nope....BUT I do have a welder. I built my 3" exhaust... ...then got rid of it and built a 4" instead. Depending on what you need, I probably have some spare stuff laying around.

lol, sounds like my situation. I go to UT, myself. Of course, my dad lives close enough to where I can drive down there and tinker with it every now and then. If you want, I'll let ya know the next time a few of my supra buddies and I are getting together.
