    New stock internal dyno record?

Stock rings, rod bolts, pistons, connecting rods, bearings, oil pump, stock oiling system, stock head and cams, etc. etc. The car made three pulls at 700 rwhp, the lowest being 710 rwhp at 28 psi. I will have a video up hopefully tomorrow night. Sean

    New stock internal dyno record?

We dynoed the car tonite. We made 753 rwhp and 589 rwtq @ 30 psi on stock internals. Mods to the car are AEM, 1000 cc injectors , GT42, and 4 inch exhaust. Here is the sheet. I want to give a big thanks to Jeff, Manning, and Jamey. This was possible tonite because of them. Sean

    fuel pumps

Oh come on IJ! It's just a sprinkle of fuel and a dash of boost. The A1000 will do fine. Sean

spark problems with the aem ems.

Try going under Setup then to sensors to cam/crank sensor to cam/crank input setup to mag pickups and click on options-mag pickups. Set your Crank H Sens to 1500 rpm and Crank Low Sens to 1400 rpm and then your Cam H Sens to 1500 rpm and Cam Low Sens to 1400 rpm and see if this helps. Sean

    AEM Tuning.

On the box for the 87-88 Supra 30-1110 pin 7C or ls#1 is the fuel pump relay enable and 21C or ls#11 is for the circuit opening relay/ fuel pump control. Make sure that none of the parameters have been changed on these low side outputs. Go to Options and then Configure outputs and make sure that...

    Dyno results: March 8, 2008 (MK3Brent GT4088)

Glad I could help, but your the one who deserves all the credit. You were the one who pulled the numbers out of it and drove home. Again great work! Sean

    Dyno results: March 8, 2008 (MK3Brent GT4088)

Nice work. We dynoed an R33 Skyline last weekend with a single Wal-bro and 680 cc injectors that made 621 rwhp @ 1.5 bar with a GT42 on an RB26. It started running lean past 7000 rpm, so you are pretty to what I would consider the limits on a single Wal-bro. Again, great numbers and nice work...

    BC valve springs

I have been running 7200 rpms on stock springs and retainers for over a year now with no drama. So the Comp Cams or BC springs should have no issues with 7200 to 7400 rpm. Sean

Who is using the AEM EMS?

Go through all of your sensor wizards and make sure the ems is set for the sensors you have in the engine. Make sure that sensors you are not using are shut off. Beyond that make sure that sensors you added ie Map and Iat are wired correctly. Always start with the start up map for the box you...

Mustang Tps wired to supra harness

You have to add a throttle switch like one from a nitrous kit and wire it to E2 and your IDL wire. The switch needs to be triggered when the throttle shuts. Sean

Who is using the AEM EMS?

Get a 1/4" or 3/8" thick piece of aluminum and weld it to the pipe and drill and tap it for 3/8" NPT. That's what I did on the pipe I made for Dave B's car. I took a piece of 1/4" aluminum plate and used an 1 1/4" holesaw and drilled a hole through the plate. I then kept the slug that was left...

    stand alone

I have been really happy with my decission to go with my AEM. Very tuner friendly once you get past being overwhelmed and the logging feature is great and a real asset to tuning. I run a 5 bar map sensor with mine plus 1000 cc injectors. The bigger injectors can be challenging to dial in on idle...

map ecu 2 or aem ems

I would say it really depends on you horsepower goals. In my opinion if you want to run a bigger injector than a 680 cc by modifying the stock ecu with a piggyback of any kind you should seriously consider stepping up to a standalone. I like my AEM EMS and have been very happy with the decision...

    Guess my Dyno #'s

I ran 32 psi on a 10.2 psi spring. Some of the problem could be your "HKS style" wastegate. I had one die right on the dyno on a car I built. It was sticking partially open causing boost to fall off. I changed it out on the dyno for a 40 mm HKS gate and was rock solid all the way to redline...

Is a 4" exhaust to big for my power goals?

I built mine out of big rig IC piping. It's 4 inch mandrel bent pipe and the wall thickness is right in the area with exhaust pipe. I bought the flange from ATP and bothe Dynomax mufflers from Advance Auto. Costs 4 inch Dynomax round muffler 70.00 4 inch Dynomax bullet muffler "convertor...

Is a 4" exhaust to big for my power goals?

Yes, it's a 4 inch v band from the turbo through the convertor "simulator". Sean
