i understand that but i want to work with what i already have. i understand the 2j coils arent the best by far, but ive already got them so i may as well use them. i wouldnt mind using the 2j coils in wastefire at all.

So the 2J igniter is probably out of the question. Thats what I wanted to know. Would the best way to go with COP and AEM just be with the 2 7M igniters (http://www.driftmotion.com/driftmotionignition.bmp)? I know COP isnt really necessary, but I want that clean look and I already have the coils...

bringing this back, has anyone with a 1130 ECU wired up a 2jzgte igniter to achieve COP? if so can you give me a wire diagram or some steps to complete this, or point me to a link where it explains this? what is the most power you have put out on this turbo IJ? at what psi? controlled by WG alone or EBC?

nice. looks like my old one. cant mod it though, unless you wanna shell out $6500 for a supercharger kit, which is hard to get a hold of. there is absolutely NO market at all for that car. but i loved that car a lot, it was fun to drive. did good burnouts/brake stands too :D no its not, but...

oh and also, im assuming i can get any bolt that will thread in the top fitting and a nut that threads on that bolt from my hardware store? what about the plate, can i just use a big washer, or is the plate something special?

thank you mattjk for all your help, it really does help. in the center port on top of the WG, can i just put a bolt in there so that it is airtight? or do i need to put a bolt, jam nut and plate in there too. i will for sure be using a boost controller, so i wont be using WG at all to control...

what do you mean by the 2nd port, the port on the top or the port on the side. I have an HKS replica (ebay) wastegate. i dont know if its a push closed or pull closed (i would assume push because the spring is pushing the valve down? i really dont know) heres are 2 pics of it torn down...
