Looks good man, you know what it tips the scales at?
Also using cooling fans in a pusher configuration, they are only %80 efficient vs. using them in a puller configuration witch will allow then to be as efficient as possible;)
Checking to see if any one else has any other ideas. Started looking into MoTeC, John Reed has not got back to me yet. I search more on Google and found one place that had prices listed and the basic M600 was $3999:aigo:. So I am guessing by the time options are added and such it will be...
Swaping the TB will produce a whole new slue of its own problems since the TPS will not be OEM to this TCCS :( But yes I would like to swap it out but again it would not cause code 41.
TCCS swap: yes, I would like to so that but no one around here has one. And to spend $150 to buy a "used"...
Um....thank you Emilio, I wonder if it will fit my TCCS plugs? Yellow (pre 89) ECU's is normally differnt (larger)and have 4 plugs,(one extra harness with like 4 wires on it) I dont think so but we could try. I know your are 90 n/a to turbo, do you have your Supra with you at state? Or maybe...
No one has a 89+ turbo around St. Cloud???? I know there is a Red 89+ around,(worked at arctic cat) I have never met you. Maybe even the Cities area? If your going up north this up coming weekend I am only 1 min. off the freeway, on your way.
Ian,
MoTeC :) I am only worried about a basic fuel map, setup, and suck for it such for it. I am guessing they do not send a a "basic fuel map" with there EMS for a 7M and will need everything programed for start up. With my current problem I do not know if one could data log it eather...
Any one? What is needed to fix this problem? Full stand alone? MAF PRO? Different TB? New intake manifold? Intercooler? IC piping? Turbo? Anything????? This Supra can not be driven this way!!! And I really dont want to part it out or sell it. I also do not think Toyota will have any clue...
As for the 7M vacuum hose size is 3mm (.118"). I am guessing the 1J is the same.
I have a few 1/8" (.125") installed on my supra and the 1/8" fit like ass, they are way too loose. They can easily "pop" off and need to be clamped down. :(. . I thought that being within .010" would be close...
The other VSV or little electronic modules is for the EGR.
I am also curious about the clamps. I have never seen any in the local parts store. The only two I have came with my BOV.
Any where online we can get them?
I am a little confused, sorry.
I am using stock TCCS & stock TPS
Car is 89 turbo with OEM TCCS and OEM TPS sensor.
I also have been confirming tests with another TPS I have that is out of a 88 turbo.
Is there any one with a 89+ turbo M/T around St. Cloud, Mn? If so could I borrow your TCCS for 2 minutes, to see if mine is good or not? JJ and I can not figure out the problem with my TPS. If anything just stop by my house as I could swap it quick to check it out.
I have some cold...
ok well playing with the TPS some more here and I found this. At 550 mv(VTA-E2) the idle shoots up to 2900-3000 and stays there. At 549 mv the idle is doing the jumping thing. So any value less the 550mv the Idle is jumping. the ohm reading at 550 mv is 1005 ohms. Also code 41 dose not show...
I could make one,... but the boring bar for the mill is missing in action:nono:
As of right now I would have no way making the large holes for the check valve. The drill bit set I have only goes up to 1" :(, and you really have to use a boring bar for this. Let me search around some more and...
I'm with Gunnar, to many supra's have went up in flames this year already. Do it right so your's isn't next. Look for some one parting out a supra is F/S. I am guessing they will sell it pretty cheap, as it's not a part I see alot of people asking about.
