I did not care if the motor blew either, when you run your stuff hard, it is not a matter of if. It is a matter of when.
If you blow the turbo, in most cases the motor needs torn down anyway to remove all the turbo bearing material that contaminates the crank and rod bearings.
And lastly...
Anytime you have metal in the bottom of the motor you need to remove the bearings and replace them all. Everywhere. Wash out the block and head. polish the crank ect. All it takes is a little metal still in the motor and it ends up embedding into the softer bearings. Then....rod knock.
Nitro and gas does not mix, so you cannot just pour nitro into the fuel tank. The gas will float on top of the nitro. The greater the percentage of nitro, the leaner the mixture becomes, thus needing to ramp up the volume. The ratio's really get wild once you get abouve the 94% nitro ratio...
I never seen my name mentioned so many times in one thread that was not a Rich roast.
My ct-26 would do 20 psi as measured by a mech. boost gauge. Perfectly accurate I cannot say. I would say I had it set for 20 psi, but would only see a spike for a few seconds at a time, in each of the three...
It is a ball bearing. That turbo is rated for 600-640 hp by precision and normally would cost 1300.00 to 1400.00 dollars new.

In for the wedding invite and bachelor party! We could make a whole new build thread just for the hitching!
Bryan - your bike is no vespa scooter so stop kidding!
Maybe it was not in stock. You should always call or email to see if a part is in stock if you need it quickly. It was also near Thanksgiving, so maybe Mark was gone for many days for Thanksgiving.
Bryan - Did I not tell you before you went to Vegas that " if you think Supras are expensive...wait untill you get married"
congrats and good for you!
If I can help out in anyway with getting the Supra done just call or email.
It could be that the litttle ball bearings inside the fluid resivoir came loose and lodged itself. That would make it lock up. Happened to a few of mine. Repalce the clutch portion of the fan.
Yes, no commercial "shift kit" exist. Mods to the valve body would be on my to do list also. I consider the valve body to be more important than the acumulators.
