His turbo called it quits at this event, so after a rebuild or a new set up he will be trying to break into the 6's with no Nitrous. This is all on the old motor.
Would you believe that the last 4 sets of Eagle rods I have worked scaled within 1 gram of each other? Sizes where pretty much good too. Quality control has stepped up over at eagle.
You can't put a price tag on quality work. The extra steps and attention to detail, justify a higher price. If it is right the first time, then money well spent.
92nsx- that is about the going rate for what you had done to the head. I just sent one out the door that I am sure the customer has 3k into it. My bill was half of that.
The oil pump drive shaft should be hardened for rpms above 8k. Mibrum used to break them spinning 9k rpm, before switching to a custom made billet shaft. Of course he then switched to dry sump. Also don't forget a bigger damper from stock.
The regrinds I do use a light weight make up shim that you place under the bucket. You also retain the factory shim on top. This method eliminates kicking out oversize shims place on top only. I have customers overseas making over 600 hp on regrinds with no problems. Regrinds should be stronger...

Most plates do not use the pass thru tube any longer. Most all have passages built into the plate and do not interrupt the flow air. Such as nearly all NX plate kits made. 6 individual nozzles vrs a spraybar, I would take the 6 individual nozzles in most 6 cyl direct port kits everytime.
