what is the preferred 1pc steel driveshaft?

More than 600HP on a BPU 1JZ daily driver? Ok... 4lb of rotating mass is a big enough difference in my book.

    afm question

Little experiment to see how many would think it could actually be a mod they'd never heard of. ;) Turns out... everyone I expected to. LOL

    7MGTE-5SPD--->2JZGTE-6SPD...Who can?

No kidding, that gearbox costs more used than most people here would pay for their whole car!

    Oil Cooler Mounting

If you don't mind the weight of all the crap then it's not hard to find spots for everything.

    UTI: Universal Technical Institute

Agreed, my experience wasn't horrible in quite the same sence yours was but I was pretty put off early on when the teachers were preaching "facts" that were downright wrong. Telling me, owner of a turbocharged gasoline powered car, that it doesn't have a vacuum brake booster and creates no...

Question on Mystery vacuum switch under intake

^If it doesn't run right it isn't the fault of any startup equipment (CSI or the FP up VSV). Both are only operational with the key in "start" AFAIK.

fuck man......i got a coolant leak in the worst possible place possible!

Even really rusted out systems don't typically rot out those metal coolant lines.. on any Toyota. So this is a good point.

    First Car = BADASS

Typically its not throttle that gets people in crashes. It's people not paying attention to: 1. Other idiots not paying attention 2. Signs at intersections

Not really sure what you're after there. I said they were "much more expensive and much higher performance"... you angrily agree? LOL

Yep! Just make sure you jump pins 1 & 4 in the connector or it won't run right.

Is that what you tell yourself to justify not buying Intel? There is no way in hell a Phenom II X4 965 is better for ANYTHING than any Core i7 chip is. i7's are much more expensive, and much higher performance - you are utterly clueless if you think otherwise. Back in the P4 days you may have...

    My New PC Build.

I don't do a ton of gaming as I only really like a few of the titles that come out nowadays. Just finished single player NFS:Shift, and I can't wait for Modern Warfare 2 to come out but I'm not big on MMOs like a lot of "gamers" are. Except for Starcraft 2 I don't see much in the way of really...

    My New PC Build.

Agreed, bang for the buck is always best a step down from the top performers. The only argument for buying really top end hardware and spending a few thousand bucks is if your going to hang on to it for several years. I've been sitting on this same 8800GTX OC2 since practically the day they came...

    Poor brake pedal feel

Assuming it was installed properly... he did say he got a new MC already from Toyota (VERY unlikely to be bad DOA) so it takes that out of the equation. With brakes that big you could likely drive around without the booster working and the system would still be somewhat effective; if you wanted...

? Upgrade form WinXP to Win7

When you buy Windows 7 it comes with both 64 and 32 bit versions. Remember if your unnecessarily whiny about system resources, 64-bit will inherently take more than 32. It uses more memory if you have more memory to use. Like I said earlier, it runs perfectly fine on 2GB or 1GB or less RAM...
