    Poor brake pedal feel

I'd have to look that up to be sure... but it does sound logical if memory serves right. The good is you may now know the problem... wait till you see the price on a new booster though.:aigo:

? Upgrade form WinXP to Win7

It is a bit faster and uses less resources than Vista does. IMO it's a bigger incentive to move from Vista to 7 than XP to 7. Poodles: How do you think bugs get on in the 1st place?? By RUNNING an executable! More often then not UAC will stop it before it does anything to your system as long as...

? Upgrade form WinXP to Win7

UAC and the Firewall are not really subjective. I run XP/Xubuntu on my netbook, and Windows 7 on my gaming machine. Snow Leopard for the computer I actually do things with. ;)

? Upgrade form WinXP to Win7

Well, to be fair, security in Windows 7 is significantly beefed up as well over XP. Not to mention it will natively run a VM of Windows XP for legacy support.

? Upgrade form WinXP to Win7

Definitely not a downgrade from XP unless system resources are super critical. Of course like someone else said I wouldn't change for a business until XP stops getting security updates or is unsupported by the company's software. Win 7 upgrade DVDs are backward compatible all the way to Windows...

    check valve behind ISCV.

I think the massive boost leak would be your primary problem, as its just going to flow right back out into the intake pipe.

Where does everyone tap there gauges into?

    1. That would only cover 1 of the 3 (+) signals gauges need. 2. There are already fused, laid out circuits in place right where I need them... why on earth would I want to run more wiring to the battery for no reason?

Where does everyone tap there gauges into?

I used the radio harness and made some little distribution blocks, because I've got 7-8 things that all have similar power requirements. Without power and a VM it could be hard to do though; offhand idk exactly which wires they are for constant, switched, and illuminate. As far as radio whine -...

    wiring woes

^ I wouldn't even bother trying to diagnose the vac system on this car from the internet. You notice the complete lack of a vac tree from that pic with the alternator in the background?

    Deleting vaccum lines?

Started of as - maybe. The following posts you've made have pushed that opinion from "maybe" to "wow"... Yes, you can "delete" every single vac line on the car. Since while you were busy not being dumb, you managed to make a mess of something so simple. You won't: -Have brakes -Have heat...

    Deleting vaccum lines?

Logic dictates that if everything on the car is there for a reason, there is a necessity for everything on the car now isn't there... leaving nothing that is unnecessary. Follow?

You haven't done any thinking at all on this have you?

    Poor brake pedal feel

So, you push down, the car stops as it should but you don't feel any feedback in the pedal; is this correct? Is the pedal travel normal?

    ugrades while head is off

Definitely have thread inserts put in for all of the exhaust studs. Some valve springs would probably be the only thing I would bother doing, help put you at ease if you decide to go with some bigger cams down the road.

    First Car = BADASS

Hmm, I expect to see it either severely damaged or totaled in < 6 months. It's too much car for a 1st car, hell, a bone stock 85HP civic is barely manageable for most. And never in a million years would I buy a car that has more than like... a cat-back on it.

    So WTF just happened?

Congrats, on the 1st moderate, level headed post I've seen on SM for some time! I've personally run 20w-50 down through 5w-20 in my car, and the difference was minimal. Primarily fuel economy was the notable difference, improving with the thinner oils. Wear also increased (according to...

    Winterize Idea: Skinny Wheels

^Agreed, my Goodyears were phenomenal in the snow, much better than the 2 4wd trucks on all seasons my parents run. 205s are "optional" size for stock sawblades and IIRC Toyota recommend them for winter. Much smaller for relatively mild NJ winters (yes it's cold, but how often are the roads...
