Hey guys,
I've been looking for a place to get some Wurth Radiator Seal HP in the states with absolutely no luck. Is there any way one of you over-the-ponders could check out what the availability is (I know it can be bought in the UK) and perhaps allow me to pay to get some sent to me...
The little blurb on the ARP catalog page talks about equalizing the stretch/tension on shorter and longer studs. What is the benefit to the 7M where the studs are all the same length, and what do people typically use?
^Fan boy much?
iPhone is great, no doubt. It's one monumental GLARING fault is being on AT&T or t-mobile, which is simply inexcusable for such a data heavy high end device.
Android is a brilliant system and with Google muscle behind it, will be the dominant system in the end - no question in...
Last time I was in Canada they were shocked to see a LHD 240...
So a beat ass (unfortunately, because it's a 92) RHD Supra in Canada is not only not a "find" it's a complete non-event.
NY area is a bit vague... if you mean near the city, then Import Performance Transmissions in north Jersey is quite highly regarded. I think jdub has had work done by them if memory serves right.
You may not get shit for response, but this really belongs in the regional forums.
Nerd alert! ;)
The 100si was the one I checked on amazon for 74+ shipping, don't know the price on the 40 since after I saw the 100si it's pretty clear which one I'd buy. Way more useful accessories on the 100 to boot.
With the head off the car it's not too bad, in the car I can't imagine it working out very well. I did it with just a hand drill, tapped with a buddy helping to make sure it was straight... came out pretty well.
7/16 isn't a problem, I think driftmotion actually sells a kit so you can helicoil them all with the larger studs. With the thought being that they will hold up better.
Plan on going with that DM turbo any time soon? I've been eyeing one for a while now but I'm a little weary of it's longevity and have not really heard a lot about it...
BTW, my turbo has LOADS of shaft play @ 146k...
You can pretty much "run it till it blows" if you wanted, the performance will diminish as it gets worse and other symptoms will occur. Catastrophic failure is pretty unlikely to happen for a very long time though.
I don't think most people understand that if you can feel the play it's, more...
Well, I don't know much about these cars, but after seeing where yours is at, I'd probably take a good look at that finished one.
Personally i would get a kart or something though... autocross just isn't all that exciting IMO.
