Depends on your technical term of "shit ton"... yes, it will leak fairly significantly from where the head meets the block/timing cover. Enough to coat the undercover, PS pump, water pump outlet, oil pan, etc. in <1000 miles.

Quick note - you should never have to do this, the system is designed to evacuate any trapped air on it's own, within a couple heat cycles, after introducing air into the system (replacing the thermostat in this case.).
With an SAFC there is no benefit to doing this aside from a minor improvement in airflow... if it is any restriction to begin with.
I know it's been said before, but just to reiterate, Motec and Squirt are not even in anyone's wildest dreams comparable systems.

This would be for using an electric speedometer that can accept the 4 pulse signal as valid. Or if you for some reason wanted to not have any speedo, but retain the use of the cruise control.
The stock speedometer will not work with this installed.
