not trying to rain on your parade but i would be very scared of your fuel line rubbing on the hood
then you can be some graham crackers, marshmellows and chocolate :)
maybe you should try put the side fuel line on the other side like mine...i doubt itll make a difference...but its worth a...

See when the o ring is compressed for many years and you loosen it up it stays in that form
So when u reinstalled it...now its not making a seal bc its already been compressed
But the copper washer should keep it from leaking as well
I would replace o ring
when adjusting your timing. in little black box next to fuse box under hood...open the little lid...this is the diagnostic box
what you want to do is take a piece of wire or paper clip and jumper E1 and TE1 togehter(this puts tccs in diagnostice mode)also shows codes by flashing check engine...

i would just use a rag to soak it up...then some brake clean and call it good

Stops at the fuel rail? the cold start injector is mounted to the intake manifold not the fuel rail lol..
the fuel line your seeing goes from the fuel rail to the cold start injector
if your having a fuel leak issue then STOP driving the car
tighten or replace copper washers

just put your hand under throttle body
youll feel with it plugs in
or remove throttle body then you might be able to see it
its not hard to plug in...just a pain to see haha
also it wouldnt hurt to flush your complete cooling system

see in the middle of the intake that bolt with a spot to mount banjo
thats your cold start injector
on the other side of intake, under throttle body is where it plugs in
check your ISCV hose is hooked up(idle speed control valve)

also the smoking will stop after a few minutes...oily fingers, coolant, pb blaster...etc...
that is your hi pressure fuel line...the regulator type thing is called fuel dampner
IIRC smaller goes between rail and banjo...then bigger goes between banjo and dampner
well i bought it with a MHG and ARP's headstuds already installed(Previous owner didnt do any machining)
car always had issues with putting exhaust gasses into the cooling system due to improper installation of MHG
but i didnt care lol its was my play toy
plus i have a foot made of lead lol...
