    yea you can run whatever and however big of a turbo you want all depends on boost level/flow rate depending on turbo size...since you say motor was built im thinking turbo is a decent size just keep boost low stock ct26 at whatever psi(lets say 12psi) will be the same flow as lets say a 60-1...

    i sold him 1 of the dampners off my 87 it sat on the shelf for about 1 yr before he bought it before installing my aeromotive a1000 afpr i was using walbro 255 with stock fuel system with no problems 89gte if that dampner is for sure bad let me know and i will gladly refund your money...

    check for coolant leaks possible the coolant shut off valve on firewall busted and sprayed coolant onto turbo or the coolant feed/drain lines on turbo(ones closer to the valve cover) are leaking coolant
