I have heard about the CPS gear ring on the exhaust cam itself being misaligned from 2 people when they bought their cams new and they had to send them back to BC to get a new replacement cam. After they replaced it it ran fine.
Is this what you are looking for? first one is discontinued but the second link is still available.

Code 11 is a momentary interruption in power supply to ECU so it may be because the battery was disconnected but double check all connections and your grounds like the 2 on the back of the lower intake manifold and your engine block and head grounds.
Sometimes code 11 is misinterpreted as a...
On almost all springs on the Supra you are suppose to have a rubber insert inside them to prevent that kind of noise just like the throttle linkage, door latch mechanism, rear hatch lock spring, ect... . Do you still have that black rubber piece inside that spring? Also what kind of lubricant...
The wiring for the cps and igniter are the same for all mk3 supra years. The only difference is the early Supras had green cps connectors and the igniter connectors were green as well but both will work with each other for all years.
Alot of that dirt if from the EGR valve allowing those dirty exhaust gases back into the intake. My intake manifolds from my old JDM motor look like new on the inside as they did not run a EGR valve.
That second picture looks like it may be a dust cap for the throttle body adjustment screw or...
You will have to do more research but I thought there was a company that was redoing all the gears in the r154 an making them straight cut gears on the other forums. Maybe you may be able to find a reverse gear from them.
It sounds like you are ready to go then. Let us know how the job goes when you are done.

It looks like you have been doing your homework and have a great list of things. For removing the head, just need the basic tool set will do along with the sockets you listed and maybe a breaker bar for removing those original head bolts. The only thing I would add is NGK spark plug wires (and...
Thanks for the response. I would have kept the air bag but the it already went off and is no good as I got the car in that condition also (had a light front side scrape on a parking pole). We do not do inspections or even test for emissions here north of Chicago or I think even at all in...
Hey everyone. I have came across a 91 manual turbo Supra in my local area and it has a rod knock and the body in the front corner is slightly damaged but somewhat fixed. My question is I have a 87 Turbo Supra with a mint gray interior with pieces I have been collecting over the past 15 years and...
Good looking out toysupguy, I hope they keep these stocked. They are a great replacement and I do notice a difference with them installed. Over 8 years and about 20,000 miles later they ride very good.
Correct me if I am wrong but I thought there was some kind of lifetime warranty but I don't...
I have never once heard anything bad about the upgraded Driftmotion alternators and if I was going to replace my alternator I would go with that route as they have been around for a while and know Supras. Defiantly stay away from Ebay knock offs and no names or you will be changing that...
