I changed the small rubber cap today for the brake light switch near the brake pedal. The old rubber one was pushed in and was cracked causing the brake lights to come on when no one was in the car.
I used to have that random problem with the starter just clicking when I first got my Supra in 2007 and in 2008 I did the starter relay mod. I never once had a starting problem since...
It depends on the style of radio but check the plugs on the back of the radio unit because some have a built in amp and other will need a external OEM amp to plug in your factory radio plugs and then from the amp it plugs right into the radio.
Here is how the external OEM amp looks like for...
I wonder what the difference is between the 86 to 87 condenser and the one for the 91 because I see new ones on ebaymotors. I wonder if the older one might fit yours because on amazon this item says for 87 to 92 Supras(even though it is unavailable)...
I have not posted on here in a while because I have not done anything much to my Supra but this forum is filled truly amazing people and tons of good information. When I first had my Turbo Supra so many people on here helped me out with finding parts, sharing their knowledge, meeting up with the...

I don't really have a way of testing the accuracy of the boost/vacuum gauge but i did have a digital water temp gauge installed before this one and when warmed up and driving the numbers seem right around 192 to 197 which was where the old one was(before the LED readout started failing). I did...
I just finished installing my Glow Shift MaxTow series Boost/Vacuum & Water Temperature Gauges. They have a needle & digital readout and best of all its green to go along with the rest of the dash lighting:naughty:.
I would double check the cable that runs from positive on the battery to the starter and make sure you have a good connection on that cable at the battery.
I just helped someone with this problem and it was the neutral start switch that caused the reverse lights not to light up even with good bulbs and good fuses.
I have the 8'th off so I will most likely be at Great lakes that day with my 87 Turbo Supra as long as nothing comes up but the other days I will be working :(.
