It's kinda funny, I have been told that my probe won't beat this kids cobalt.
I have been asked "Does that have the 1.3 rotory?" I replied "Yeah I swapped out the straight 6 turbo for a N/A rotory" the guy got this constipated look on his face and drove off.
I went into a store and while I...
You can use pretty much any petroleum based product, I just used Vaseline, you don't need much just enough to make the seals slippery. And make sure you DON'T nick them cause that will cause a leak.
P.S. If you do have a bad seal go to Napa, the part number is ATM IK2401 and it's only $1.99...
I would almost bet it's just the starter wire, I just put mine all back together the other day and it wouldn't crank and all I did was wiggle/push on the black/blue wire for the starter.
As for the injector seals did you use anything to lube them up when you installed them, I had a buddy put...
One thing alot of people overlook are injector seals, my car wouldn't idle warm either and I could hear a hissing sound around the same area you are explaining so I tried the starting fluid trick with no luck. I then took off my intake manifold since I thought that gasket may have blown out, but...
I know you said you checked all your fuses but if you were messing with your o2 sensor and it somehow bad wiring grounded out then it could have blown the EFI fuse and you might not have noticed it being blown, it happened to me once so I think its worth checking.
I am really starting to lean towards the injector seals especially if you have no codes, sounds like the exact same thing my car was doing and if the PO removed the fuel rail at all then by the sounds of his mechanic skills I would almost bet he never payed attention to the grommets on the...
Another thing to check is the injector seals if someone wasn't paying attention when putting them in they will not go in right and leak like mine did, not saying this is your problem but it was mine.
Yeah IJ I am going to pull them all off next time I get to work on it and smooth out all the edges and paint them so the don't get rusty and they look a little better/
I just got my CxRacing intercooler kit mounted today and hopefully will have it buttoned up in the next couple of days. First off I will tell people that don't know that this is pretty much the same kit driftmotion sells except it doesn't include the BOV but does have a fitting for the stock...
I am not positive but I believe the only thing you will have to do is bypass the neutral safety switch other than that it should work fine. Also using the JDM ECU will be better because it is tuned for no egr. I may be wrong on all of this so I would wait for more people to chime in, but I think...
I believe code 24 is because the ECU powers up before the MAFT PRO so the ECU doesn't see the IAT signal until the MAFT is running, there is a way to fix this by adding resistors or something, go to http://www.turboninjas.com/supra/maft/?d=8%20-%20Vehicle%20Specific%20Info/MK3%20Supra&s=&r=...
