    1j mk3 wont start, over-fueling

You can just pull the packs up like you say (holding the tops) and keep them near the motor/plug galleys, the spark will arc to the nearest metal so they are easily checked. Don't shock the shit out of yourself.

    Big 1jz build in Chicago

There's always something better and the grass is always greener, and other people always know what to do with your money. I'm sure you will find a way to enjoy such a beautiful setup you have going, I love the MKIII more than any MKIV, the car has a character and presence not found in many...

    1jz + 272 cams + E85 + T61 = 700hp

It's very cool, I had one for my RB25. Most of the people who are down on it probably don't even know enough about to use it effectively and understand why it's so neat. They just hear it's not as super 1337 as some other mega-powered expensive standalone. ANYWAYS, this thread is awesome and...

    18psi?

You need to put that Walbro in there! I bought mine already single'd and the dude had run it up to 17-18 psi on the stock turbo pump with 550s and told me he had tuned it. Before I put my Walbro on I checked the AFRs and it was running leaner than I liked at just 14+ psi! Pump could've been...

Thank you SupraMania Mods for having the composure to deal with situations like this correctly and also bringing them to our attention.

    ... great ... a chaser

Good that it worked out for you, I was going to suggest that you demand the importer cover the cost of the parts. Good luck!

Very odd problem with my 1jz!

You are not hitting boost cut, right? Does your CEL light work and does it light up when you get this under boost problem?

New: BIC Supra dyno and drag times. 1JZ FTW!!

I don't think the Street radials love the heat, I would just spin them up a bit to clean them and get them warm, no crazy mega smoke burnouts required.

    R12 used with a R134 A/C pump?

He is asking about using a pump designed for an R134 system on an R12 system, nothing more. The only people here wasting their time are the ones apparently not reading the original question well enough.

Tuning a 1.5jz with a S-AFC. What would be a good base tune?

The only solution here is to get a wideband on the car, even if you have to borrow it. You have no idea what the AFRs look like without one.

    Clutch Install Problem - Vibration/Unbalance

I found I had a faulty/clogged injector (not sure whats wrong with it) that would cut out intermittently and leave the motor running on 5 cylinders. Just ended up first happening right on the first start-up after the clutch install, so naturally I thought it was driveline related. It shakes a...

How much 1JZ vibration at 1600rpm, Help me out

It didn't seem to get any interest so I didn't bother with a solution. I had a faulty injector that would cut out intermittently and leave the motor running on 5 cylinders. Just ended up happening right on the first start-up after the clutch install, so naturally I thought it was driveline...

How much 1JZ vibration at 1600rpm, Help me out

I've been doing a clutch install for awhile now, I've disassembled and installed a few times now looking for this vibration and out of balance feeling. Last night after torquing, sealing, greaseing everything back up to perfection again, I thought I had it licked when I started it and it...

    Clutch Install Problem - Vibration/Unbalance

Ya, I did that in my last post above yours, but thanks for the good advice. I looked through the inspection holes at various stages throughout this whole deal, everything looks fine. Input shaft is perfectly still and nothing is obviously out of whack. I can only assume at this point it is the...

    Clutch Install Problem - Vibration/Unbalance

Ran the motor with the fork holding the PP and clutch away from the flywheel and got the vibration. Looks like it's 99% the flywheel. It was honestly only about 1% the problem in my mind before this test. I should've just bought a new one, nothing on this POS should ever be re-used, it's...
