haha no, no worries man, i just didn't make it clear i knew it was just the cover i guess.
i think i'll wait on the vent though... my car's stock on the exterior so it would probably look kinda fruity if i just had some sorta jdm tizzyte headlight vent and nothing else lol.
:nono: i know.
the cover on mine is bent and rusted, and most of the assembly is held together with duct tape from what it looks like. i'm happy for now though as long as the headlight still goes up and down smoothly.
if heat doesn't work, or if the bolts are already off and it's just the fact that the two are stuck together, some people say to get a BFH [big f*@#in hammer] and a screwdriver... don't quote me on that though. i just read it in an earlier thread posted by someone havin the same problem.
same question, are they effecient? it just so happens my passenger side headlight assembly's screwed, so when i grab a new one i might be lookin into jdm vents like that if they do more than just lookin good.
lol i actually laughed when i saw that eclipse. that's almost the gayest thing i've ever seen, aside from that blue CRX with 19's and dual exhaust that one time.
alright so a 10.5" wheel with a +35 offset is gonna have way more of a lip then an 8.5" wheel with the same offset. i've been lookin at a lot of wheels and researching and whatnot... i think i've got it now. thanks for the answers without flaming me too much :biglaugh:
i... i... didn't want any trouble... it was just...
haha no but in all seriousness, those don't look like +43's in your sig... unless those rear wheels are like 12 inches wide. it's more of a problem with how wheels look when the design is flat with the lip of the wheel. like on your car, no...
lol oh, well yeah i kinda do. i won't rag on anyone for having one cause i'll admit, they're okay cars and i wouldn't mind havin an EG vtec hatch if i didn't already have a mkiii. it's mainly the owners that give em a bad name i think, i.e. ricers.
i was talkin about an 8" wide wheel with 38 offset having no lip and not looking good to me... for me it'd be ideal to have a staggered low 30's offset with a 9-9.5" wide wheel, therefore havin a bigger lip and all that. just my opinion.
i get 16mpg according to my stock supermonitor... apparently that's bad for a 7m? i drive it hard occasionally just like everyone else, but i'm not pinging it off 8 grand or anything. any vague idea of what would cause the horrendous economy?
if i take it up to 4.5-5k in first or second, the check engine light comes on. i can keep drivin relatively hard or just cruising, and it'll randomly turn off. i need to check the codes and get back to you guys, i know, but i'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. :1zhelp:
