is it over on the far left side of the cluster? kinda looks more like a trash can to me but we might not be talkin about the same thing. i don't know what it is either... mine's almost always on too. but like i said, get on the highway [or in town if you're extreme], and pull to 5.5-6k in 3rd...
haha me too. i tried gettin onto the highway with my grandma in the car and my lsd locked in the rain in 2nd and 3rd gear... woo. i just felt the back end slide out and there was nothin i could do but keep the pedal on the floor... it was weird.:biglaugh:
in what gear? if it was 1st it probably didn't do much cause there's not much load on the engine unless you're goin uphill. try it in 3rd, pull to 5.5k. you should see a change on the boost gauge at 2.5-3k rpms.
the turbo won't "pick up" unless you put the pedal down. if you slowly get on it, it'll only start boosting when you're at 1/2 throttle or so, so it's probably normal. for me it's normal but my turbo's old and probably spools a little late. you just haven't gotten a chance to rod on it...
the ssqv's the only kind of bov i like... all the rest just sound like a rush of air which seems plain and homo to me. then again i have no stereo so i kinda need somethin to listen to.
+1. unless you're into autoX or somethin where you'll need good handling and a light car, get the Supra. 1jz? personally 500+rwhp potential on stock internals doesn't sound too bad to me, and you'll have a good lookin car with a solid, reliable engine. i don't really like the way mr2's look or...
everything on the car's 20 years old, so i wouldn't go for more than 9-10psi right now unless you have intake and full exhaust. 10psi would leave me with no worries on a semi-healthy 7m with those two BPU's.
:word8kn: my girlfriend spent 12k [payments] on an '07 Chevy Cobalt. domestic cars ftl. but she has huge..... :sarcasm: lips.... so that kinda makes up for it all, i guess.
there probably isn't that much vaccuum on the return line so yeah, it's probably gettin backed up. i'd just buy a better sized line and see what happens.
i have the same problem. i'm pretty sure it's the valve cover seals.
i need to replace my exhaust mani gasket too... should probably get on that someday.
oh really? you wouldn't wanna let em go for "kinda cheap" too would you? :naughty: haha God only knows when i'd have the money though, so don't hold em for me or anything.
well yeah, but your car looks awesome and is kinda slow, while most people take shits better looking than the rest of our kinda fast cars. at least that's my problem. damn how much did that staggered setup set you back?
