Tell that to the dsm and honda guys that run those turbos with great success.
Suprakid go look around on one of the dsm site's for more info, there are several of them that have ran into the 10's with that turbo.
A couple of weeks after I bought my current supra I had 2 of the coolant lines behind the motor leak. Well I had to work so I took it to the previous owner and had him fix it. Well the next day when I was leaving for work in my dd I see this nice red car comming down the road by my house. I am...
I would run a set of poorly cut stock springs before I would even think of runn that crap. :3d_frown: Also you can get a set of second hand coilovers for a decent price if you search the classified section on here or that other supra site. There was just a set of tiens that I remember seeing for...
Well I already have the BC springs and retainers and I am only doing a half of a build right now. I am going full on the head and just a stock build on the bottom for now so I can get the car running this spring, then do build the bottom with a spare block that I have. I was just second guessing...
I already have a set of BC springs and retainers that I planed to do with my build, the reason I got them was because of the price. But recently I came across a good deal on a set of ferrea components and dont know if I should go the route.
I am starting to think the BC ones wont be up to...
Yeah it doesnt take much to get a low 13 out. I ran a 13.3@108 with the ct-26 at 12psi also. The only tunning I had was the vpc/gcc tuned on the street using a autometer narrowband o2.
Well if you can weld or know someone or a shop that can, and if you are pretty set on it. You could always get one of the ss autochrome or ebay ones and change the flange over to a ct-26 one and run an external gate. That is what I was going to do because I wanted to see what I could do with a...
Thanks bwest. Also the Nippons that I have are dished. Since I am doing everything else I might as well grab some Brian Crower SS valves as they are only $400.
I have a question regarding valves. But let me give some info first. I am building my head with a final goal in the 600+hp range. I orginally planed on building the whole motor but it will take to long to get all the parts together and during that time the car would be down. So I just figured I...
I think on the cheap the best bov you can buy is a the stock one off of a 1st gen dsm. Stock they will hold around 20psi and modded you could get them to hold up to 30psi. They also make a very nice woosh sound.
