    A/C fan speed help

The blower motor resistor is the little sensor looking thing with a bunch of coils wound and soldered on, doesnt look like solder would actually melt on it as i've tried it before, its much better to replace so you would not have to worry about it in the long run :)

    Weird Idle issue?

Okay, so for the ISCV the TSRM says it should have resistance readings between 10-30 ohms, it read 21.9-22.0 ohms. The cold start injector had 3.3 ohms (tsrm says 2-4 ohm) So the resistance readings were okay. I dont know exactly how to test the iscv but i applied + voltage on b1 and b2 (middle...

88 Supra Rebuild (Trans swap 1/18/11)

Wow! props on taking apart a auto transmission like that. I never really taken one apart because of the fear of losing anything that is spring held with multiple valve lock balls falling out of the valve body (as i heard from somebody who took one apart and trashing it) Good luck on the build!

    Weird Idle issue?

I'm sure the cooling system is properly bled, i added coolant and topped the car off, after a day raised the front up about 3' off the ground and opened the cap ran the motor till no air was coming out, after a while i checked my tee-adapter by the heater control valve the coolant was always...

    Weird Idle issue?

Alright thanks i will check up on those and maybe replace as well. By the way, I replaced my head gasket sometime in September. after the head gasket replacement was when this started to happen. and maybe once in a while (RARELY), when i start the car the idling would be around 500-ish and would...

    Weird Idle issue?

Ill check on that, but the thing is. If it were the spring, why is it only occuring to idle at 1000-1100 rpm's upon first startup of the day, after the car's been driven for more than 15 minutes or so the idle is at 750 throughout the entire day.

    Weird Idle issue?

I don't have the slightest idea of which screw you are talking about, the idle adjust-stopper screw? Or is it a different one? Ill remove the ISC valve tomorrow or something and take a look, theres a filter in there? It only looks like a valve and thats it..

    Weird Idle issue?

Linkage does not seem like its having a pre-pull load on the throttle valve. TPS has never been messed with, nor is it throwing a code. ISCV and Cold start injector i will check, but when the car is shut off i hear some clicks like i'm supposed to hear. Timing is dead on 10* btdc with the two...

    Weird Idle issue?

I've been noticing lately, i would start up my car and typically it would idle at 1500RPM till about 5-6 mins it would drop down to 1100-100rpm, After driving around the heat finally is on full heat but when i come to a stop the idle would still be at 1000rpm's dead on. Then id go straight to...

    88 Blue Turbo restoration/upgrade story

Yes i believe they are on the same line as the lights (tails and side markers) all come on at the same time, but i believe its the 2nd click on the light switch, the first ones just there for whatever reason it serves lol

    Brake caliper sticking after replacement

^ True. I had this happen on my supra once a while ago. Try removing the lower caliper bolt and then rotating it up and sliding it out of the slider, if it doesnt slide out easily then the caliper must have gone seized on it, I dont know why they did not design it like the other cars that use...

    Lowering the stock suspension??

I think that the stock coil spring is variable in width, therefore cutting off a small section of the spring may not allow it to seat properly, then again you can try but its better to get a setr of lowering springs.

    Brake caliper sticking after replacement

Take the wheel off and inspect the brake/hub assembly, may be a good idea to get the rotor(s) resurfaced and get new pads as well, if thats not the case, inspect the brake hose that leads up to the wheel well for any signs of damage. If they seem fine id definitely try bleeding all calipers from...

Unlock my car with key and ALARM sounds... WTH?

^ Agreed, check the condition of the little switch on the drivers lock cylinder, when you open up the door panel and remove the lock cylinder, its the light green thing thats clipped onto the end of the key cylinder that switches one way or the other when the key is turned inside, sends the...

cps wiring + wire harness HELP!!!!

If you havent cut the harness from your CPS, match up the two harnesses together so that they look like their facing the same direction (e.g. put them next to each other so looks like the harness is facing one direction) if you know what i mean, then just splice one wire at a time and solder it...
