I vote bad clutch on fan or bad T-stat. When I finished My build this past spring I had the same thing. It would go 3/4 full temp gauge then bam, it would drop, right to normal in 2 seconds. To fix it, I went to toyota and bought a new OEM t-stat & gasket ($21) then replaced the auto zone...

No, not really, it is all about having the correct tires in the snow ;) I drive my CTS-V all winter long with 400 tq. and drive normal.

Your going to need more than nitrous if you want to beat them, at least that is if you want to do it more than once ;) Shit we have a boosted old school civic running around cloud, and he is very low 12's, & dosent have much $$$ in it. Also the cobalt runs low 14's IIRC.
