Gates racing belt is the same belt as Greddy's belt, but $50 less bucks ;) Gates makes the them for Greddy just with Greddy's name printed on them. The gates racing belt is around $72. I rather have the good one for the piece of mind, o-ya I do have the Gates racing belt, lol/

If you rewired it ***correctly***. Then pick up a couple used ones from the FS section and try them out. A new one is around 200 bones or more IIRC. Also ohm out your wires just to double check. There should be no continuity from the K1 or K2 to the ground.

Oil pressure sounds like normal for a 7mgte. As for the the oil in you IC piping Im sure it is coming from a bad oring or seal in the turbo. If it is a light coating I wouldnt worry to much about it. Just check you oil before every time you drive.
There is no real way to test them. I wondered the same thing some time ago and after several emails & pm's, that is what I found.
Ohming it out dose nothing for you.

Could be the main seal or the cam seals. When the HG was put on was there form in place gasket sealant used there the block meets the timing cover? It can also be leaking from there. Cam seals are easy to replace but if you removed the cam covers and there was NO OIL IN THERE you have a much...
<-----First oil/filter change was after 5-7 min of idle light reving in the garage. Second oil/filter change was with 150 miles on the engine. Third was around 1K miles on the motor. Syn oil (redline) will go in some time when 4-5K miles on her.
