Mine are wired directly to the battery, on a relay to a keyed source. I can't seem to find a quality relay that can handle the constant use of the fan, they always seem to fail every few months. I need to find something OEM that can take the heat.

485whp on 18 is really weak. Was it a JDM spec motor? That would account for that. My buddy with a 1JZ (2.5l) with a GT35R made 478whp on 18psi.

I used a ford taurus (bubble looking one) electric fan. Costed me $40 bucks and blows like a hurricane.
