Does anyone know off hand what size the thread is on the stock fuel rail for the pressure regulator. I was hunting for a fitting to go in it's place to install my aftermarket fuel pressure regulator today and couldn't find one anywhere. I guess a lot of you guys use "Earl's Fittings" but what is...
I may have already found my answer - google is your friend !!! (I didn't write this, I just cut and pasted).
How does a electronic boost controller work?
First, let us understand how a turbo works. A turbo simply consists of an exhaust wheel and a compressor wheel connected together...
"Boost Spiking" ? I take it that is when you get a very rapid boost pressure? Should you see a gradual rise in pressure? I am still trying to grasp all of this? Why would you want the wastegate to start to open at around 5psi. Wouldn't you want it to open at your maximum boost setting? What...
I just got my Greddy Profec B-Spec II installed and am a little perplexed (<<< really big word) as to how to set it up. Sure I read through the manual that I have for it but I'm not sure as to what settings to do. I have a 60 trim upgraded CT-26 with a shimmed wastegate. I haven't run over 8psi...
This is how I did mine for a 90 Turbo. The connectors for the ECU are labeled in the TSRM as R(26 pins), S(16 pins) and T(22 pins). I don't have the info available for the 87-88 however. All wires are to be tapped into and sealed. The only wire that needs to be cut is the Light Green/Red (S2)...

I just got my new gauges installed (and I must say was one of the most motherf''''n jobs I've done so far - what a major pita) and I can't seem to get them to dim with the dash dimmer. They light up fine but won't dim. I tapped into the ashtray light which I know dims. These gauges are the...
No, those harnesses will only work on 89-92 as they state. The 87-88 harness are a different pin configuration.
Regarding a writeup, just follow the instructions that came with your SAFC-II and tap in like they say. IIRC the only wire that is actually cut is the AFM wire, all the others are...
Thanks guys for the pics. If I had my exhaust manifold off I would put it there but I think I may have to settle for the turbine housing. I appreciate the pics.

Stock mani here....I was hoping to put it on the collector portion before the turbo but it doesn't look like it will go there due to clearance issues. I've heard the #6 area but wanted to get the common temp.
I've heard people putting it in the turbo outlet elbow but due to heat and energy...
