I used the "re-ring" kit from rpmperformance and it worked out fine for me - 7000+ miles on rebuild and still running strong. I didn't use the headgasket since I went HKS metal.
I checked my TSRM and it says that normal pressure for a stock turbo is 23-30 psi at idle so I guess I'm alright. I just thought it should be higher. Next weekend when I switch in my 550's I wonder if the pressure should be the same or higher?

Absolutely not !!! They will look for the cat as part of the visual inspection. You can fail immediately without a cat, they won't even hook you up to the machine. Sorry.
Which style RC Engineering injectors is everybody using on the MKIII. The ones I have are PL8-550 and I was wondering if I have the right ones??? Also, is there supposed to be a pintle cap on the bottom of them where they go into the head?
