its called adiabatic efficiency, look it up.
As air is compressed it creates heat proportional to the temperature going in and proportional to the amount of pressure created. Lower the initial temperature and you lower the temperature of the air coming out of the turbo.
Ever been to a drag...
per the manual, but hitting ~16-17 psi from time to time i keep it at .028, im not the only one doing this, duane , and tom are the ones that recommended it to me.
I torqued the A arm down before i dropped the car, i couldnt fathom how to torque that thing to 110ftlbs w/ the car dropped an inch on the ground. You'll have enough weight to torque the top nut down.
the weight of the frame should be enough to help them settle into place and if all else fails...
+1 for driftmotion, the spearco replica was ~$230, if you can get the bigger one do it and just move your stock oil cooler back some. Buy some piping from them and your good to go.
Or if your broke pm me i have a stock one laying around at home.
I started ME this semester, so far the math hasnt gotten to intense and the autocad classes are like 2nd nature so far. The general consensus seams to be "make it past dynamics and your set!"
you sure your not just taking your POS stock boost guage to seriously, my stock guage would just kind of take a coffee break and read positive boost after i'd already hit 3800rpm when i know it kicked in at 2k.
check your IC pipes, or you can crank up the boost and just blow the SOAB out now...
have you checked that your o2 sensor is working or connected right?
10 a/f isnt to uncommon, untuned w/ my wb i was reading ~9, thats right around flame thrower status.
Dont mount an oil cooler on your intercooler that shit gets HOT. I had a standard tube/fin style oil cooler mounted on the front of my IC before and the intercooler did a good job of soaking up allot of that heat. I have since gotten rid of that and mounted a B&M under the driverside headlight...
im a college kid w/ a reliable supra and i still dont recomend it. Your going to blow all of your money trying to make it reliable and once you get there your just going to have to keep throwing money at it to keep it like that for more than just a month.
heh off topic as well, im in wenatchee, didnt know there was another maft-pro in my area.
And yea post up that DIY, i was going to do this w/ the stock washer fluid lines but it proved unnecessary w/ my set up.
