I didnt feel like reading through everything, but if your injectors wont fire, go from their. Is thier power to them? Is the wiring good? Filter New? Pump working? Lines clear? Check your fuel system. If you have power to the injectors, then you have a fuel problem ( I think, may not be...

You paid 279 for a high volume pump? Heyzues almighty! Im fairly sure that you could get a HV pump from O' Reillys for 50-80, although I'm not sure if Toga is a renowned company for oil pumps, 279 just sounds real high.

dont put a metal HG on it if you arnt pulling the block and decking it. also, i forgot, your timing could be a tooth off, or actually anything with your timing.

you never know, usually its a gradual thing w/ injectors, filters, etc. if its all of a sudden, it makes me think electronic, which is why i said check for codes. tps maybe?

is your cat good? free flowing? check for codes too, and have you done a tune-up? plugs? wires? fuel filter? clean ur injectors? new/clean filter?

Possibly a vacuum leak. I put an intake on w/ 2 vacuum ports that arnt plugged, and my idle jumped a couple hundred.. That or a Idle control motor (idk if MKIII's have them, i know my moms b/fs MKII did) but when that went bad on his, at first it didnt idle, then it idled at 2500
