Wiseco vs JE vs Cp vs Ross Pistons vs Ceramic Coated Stock????

Ross = heavy... Je's are around 60g lighter per piston than ross, and have a more equal crown. Ross' pistons have thick and thin spots in the crown, leading to potential weak spots relative to the massively strong spots. JE has a constant thickness meaning no weak or strong spots. iirc a .017"...

    Drove my first turbo Supra

Grant (Oneandgone) has some oem grey floor mats! He wanted a reasonable price for them, hopefully they're still there. As long as he isn't burning any oil, he should switch to full synth 20W50, nothing thinner. Have fun!

    Drove my first turbo Supra

We're glad you guys are enjoying the car! It was a sad moment, watching it drive away. Remember to make sure he changes that oil! If you think that one's fun you should take a spin in Heidi's ;)

    Trim codes.

I was curious if we could maybe start a faq on trim codes or add it to shaeff's options thread. I searched, didn't find much.:3d_frown: I have several interior trim codes to post, but I'm not actually sure of any of the names. Gray, medium gray, shadow gray, etc... So I was thinking we...

Our rebuild/restoration of the '90 with only 93k miles!

Time for someone to do some clean bodywork. ;) Once that is cleaned up, they will have one valuable supra.

Our rebuild/restoration of the '90 with only 93k miles!

I believe they tried to weld studs to it and pull it out with a slide hammer, but the supra laughed at them. Several studs are still imbeded in the sheet metal. It is sad. But man, it drives SO PERFECT!!!

Our rebuild/restoration of the '90 with only 93k miles!

Here were some of the worst spots on the car when we got it. You can see a huge contrast in that last picture between pre and post buffing (most of the car looked like the left side of the pic). The dent on the driver side fender looks a lot better after being buffed. No more scuff marks...

Our rebuild/restoration of the '90 with only 93k miles!

Hey all. This is Heidi. I thought I'd share what we've been up to this past month. Back in December, we picked up a 90 turbo targa supra with only 93k miles from one of our neighbors. He had bought it back in '99 for a pricely sum of $10k, and then proceded to let it sit in his lawn for 5 years...

Thanks so much everyone, especially Duane for pushing us to submit the car and the overwhelming moral support! Big thanks to Joshua for taking over ROTM, Aaron @ DriftMotion for the intercooler (we'll take the big one by the way ;)), and Stanzaspeed! We are true supramaniacs and there are...

    Eprom the 7mgte for tuning

Techtom is legit, but ias I recall, it's around 1100 just for the daughter board install and basic tune, and they're "hit or miss" with no real way to get a full feedback tune.
