2 Quick Questions... (ISC and K/S related)

There are three "tubes" on the ISC, the big one goes to the accordian pipe, through a hard pipe next to the 3K pipe. The other two are for coolent. I bypass the coolent lines, unless the car is going to reside in alaska, or russia. The GE block has threaded bosses for 3 knock sensors, just...

Most industrial supply stores should carry pin extracters for nearly nothing... We're so in on the MAft-pro as soon as funds allow.

    MickyG's MX-73 to 7M-GE Swap

Doesn't that Ian char have machining abilities??? Anywho, the thing is that the cruise has a recessed plug on it, so it's not like you can splice wires to make it work, you'll need a harness under the dash that connects to the cruise ecu.

Your guide to drag strip success w/pics.

True, but our dyno graph does fall off, because we're producing 460 ft-lbs of torque at 2800 rpm from a stock ct-26, this leads to a massive heap of midrange power, but typical, ct-26 top end. Consequently, by the time the engine gets to 5250, power has peaked, due to the surge of midrange...

    good clutch for racing

Ran the maxx and HPF bronze, can't make either slip, but most torque we've put down has been 460 to the wheels with rps ppm and 360 with ACT pp. I've heard nothing but good things about HPF feramic.

    MickyG's MX-73 to 7M-GE Swap

Failure! No kin of mine should be getting sick, you must be alergic to kangaroos... Nice progress! Do you still need the various parts? I've got them isolated from the rest of the supra graveyard, and I'm wondering how you can incorporate "speed control" as it's formally labled by toyota...

    Exhaust manifold stud upgrade

Aaron, I'm not sure if these are the studs you're using, but the thread in small block chevy rocker arm studs work great for this purpose and seem to be the perfect length, as well. My local machinest can get them with locnuts for about $1 each. I'm not sure if that's competetive with your...

    oil pressure

the oil pressure gauge is just a thermometer... voltage comes straight from the gauge fuse, which is powered up from the ignition switch. The sender is a variable ground, so more pressure = less resistance. A shorted sender would allow heat to accumulate in the gauge, permanently deforming the...
