GrimJack is correct, but I say 4 years and 20K, Don't look for trouble. It's apparent you're motor likes things just the way they are. If the gasket is on it's way out, retourqing may accelerate the problem. JMHO

Although you have some work to do to make this right, you will never forget about the spacer plate again. That's how you learn, everyone screws up at one time or another. Good luck on you're project, one bolt at a time.

I took all my hoses to my local NAPA and matched most. The others were purchased at the dealership.

With small mods to the bracket you can use the screw that holds the trim in place.

Wideband and EGT gauge will tell all. Every vehicle is differant. Don't guess at this stuff unless you're good at putting engines in. Hows the pump? Whats the pressure? Injectors clean and balanced?

FWIW, Stock c26 intake side impeller measures: inducer minor 1.811, exducer major 2.559. The 46 trim measures: inducer minor 2.003, exducer major 2.950. Thats a nice little upgrade for the turbo, with same spool and longitivity characteristics. A 60 trim is 2.290 and 2.950 with...

The accelerator shoud be smooth and consistant. Anything else and you have a problem. Lube and adjust those cables. Don't compare these with other cars. Of cource my chevy feels differant than my ford. It's a gas pedal, if it don't feel right, it's not right.

On a used motor I bought, #1 and #6 were factory perfect. 2,3,4,5 were worn. IJ told me it was caused by detonation. IJ was right, as verified by other experienced engine builders. New #2 bearings brought everything back to snuff. I got a good spare motor.

IJ, I'm not letting you off the hook so easy. You did'nt answer my questions. The good bearings are within Toyota spec. Weather it's acceptable or not, Toyota service limit is 3 thou. It most certainly looks like oil starvation, but why are #1and 6 beautiful, and all the mains beautiful also...
